Aloha Surfboards

Aloha Surfboards was born in 1978 and bred in Australia's surf industry hotspot of Sydney's Northern Beaches. Over time Aloha steadily rose above the fierce competition to become one of worlds premier surfboard brands.

From its inception Aloha's team of surfers, both past and present, reads like a who's who of surfing, from World Champion competitive machines to free surfing hellmen. These talented, respected and highly decorated surfers have, through their extraordinary surfing and individual personalities, maintained the progression of the Aloha product and cemented the brand into surfing's rich history.

Today Aloha houses a stable of world-class surfboard designers who are dedicated to the craft of building the best surfboards available on the market. An intensive product development program ensures the shapers and the team surfers work in synergy to develop, test, refine and produce high quality performance surfboards for surfers of all experience levels, from beginner to the truly advanced.

Through this dedicated team of unique individuals and professional surfers Aloha strives to deliver a superior product to maximize the surfing experience. This high standard of excellence has become the formula that proudly drives the brand to this day.

AF-1 Pro

The AF1 PRO is a high performance modern short board ideally suited to surfers of intermediate to advance skill level.

This board was developed to satisfy the needs of the Aloha Pro Team and is the preferred design used on the ASP World Tour by surfers such as Richie Lovett, Luke Munro, Mark Mathews, Matt Bemrose and Zahn Foxton. Every inch of this board has been refined through rigorous testing and detailed feedback to ensure exceptional reliability and performance.

This model features all the bells and whistles; a rounded squash tail, refined foil and rail volume, smooth responsive rocker and a full length concave. The combination of these design elements make The AF1 PRO the ideal board for critical turns and tight pocket surfing.

The AF1 PRO has everything you would expect from a pro model board; speed, response, maneuverability and quick rail-to-rail transitioning. Considered the diamond of the Aloha fleet, this board will take you to the next level.

AF-2 Turbo

This high volume, versatile short board is the perfect step-up from the AF1 PRO.

Designed to suit a wide range of surfers, the AF2 TURBO retains all the characteristics of a high performance short board, such as the refined plan shape, but features a slight increase to the dimensions and overall foam distribution to offer greater stability and forgiveness.

The graduating rocker through the nose and tail on the AF2 TURBO offers quick take-off acceleration and increased control while still maintaining enough bottom curve to perform in hollow waves. A deep single concave gives the speed and response you would expect from a board of this calibre.

Super fast yet still forgiving, the AF2 TURBO can be used in a variety of different conditions and should be regarded as the backbone to any quiver.

Quickshift

The Quickshift continues to be one of the most popular boards in the Aloha range. Easy on the eye and even easier to ride, this board features a fuller outline through the nose and tail while still maintaining the standard width of a typical performance board.

A lower entry rocker makes for easy paddling and faster acceleration while the smooth yet progressive tail rocker helps sustain the boards maneuverability and response. A curved swallowtail adds bite and the single-to-double concave maintains the board's sensitivity. Extra flip in the nose has also been added to prevent nose-diving in steeper waves.

Forgiving yet still performance based, this is the perfect alternative to the high performance AF models and will suit surfers who are looking to make the transition from a refined short board or a larger hybrid design.

Stryka

The STRYKA is the brainchild of former WCT surfer Richie Lovett and was designed to offer the feel and sensitivity of a regular short board with the added advantage of having extra stability. This model was personally tested and refined by Richie to ensure each criteria was satisfied. The result is a modern performance fish that is easy to ride and can be used by surfers of all experience levels from novice to pro level.

The theory behind the STRYKA model was to take features from a regular short board such as nose outline, rail volume and deeper concave and then add extra width through the centre and tail to create a stable platform. An overall reduction in the rocker makes the board fast, even in substandard conditions while the deep concave maintains sensitivity and response when the board is traveling at high speeds. A flyer has been positioned behind the side fins to help offset the extra width and allows the board to release through turns.

This model will compliment any quiver and really capitalizes on the fun factor by combining the performance of a short board with the stability of a fish.
